Canadian filmmaker, photographer, and musician based in San Francisco, CA.
After two years at the beloved San Francisco Art Institute (RIP), I transferred to California College of the Arts where I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film in 2021. Currently, I am working as Head of Production at OpenLight Films.
At OpenLight Films, I lead teams of 35+ crew members, producing compelling commercials, corporate videos, and photography. My biggest goal is to continue to improve the process, deliver high-quality content, and always keep the client and crew smiling :)
My passion for cinematography and directing began early with a hand-me-down Sony Handycam from my father. I would bring the camera to school and my friends and I would make silly short films during recess. Shoutout to that group of friends for putting up with little bossy director me.
Many of my films revolve around comedy, mental health, nature, and visual poetry, but I have recently discovered a strong interest in non-fiction and documentary work. I also enjoy finding ways to alter reality or make the banal into something extraordinary. Often, I will write and record music and lyrics for my own films.
Aside from film, I continue to work on poetry, photography, and music, and have been exploring other mediums such as painting and sketching (when there’s time, haha).
In my down time, I like to hike, play board games, and hangout with my dogs.
A little bit obsessed with rock hounding.
Uncoincidentally, a rock climber.
Lover of all types of videography and photography.
